Green computing is an initiative taken by Google to make computers more environment friendly. There are a few upfront costs to using a green computer, but it is more environment friendly.
Kansas and Minnesota governors have signed up to this initiative. These green computers cost $30 extra but are expected to reduce energy consumed by 50 percent.
