US Affiliate Marketing Spending Projections

Spending on affiliate marketing is projected to touch $4 billion by 2014. Affiliate marketing has been primarily an activity of small to mid size websites that operate on niche website categories. The average per year growth is a healthy 16%. Here are the spending that we have seen and projected:

2007 : $1.657 billion
2008 : $1.841 billion
2009 : $1.941 billion
2010 : $2.150 billion
2011 : $2.533 billion
2012 : $2.989 billion
2013 : $3.473 billion
2014 : $4.012 billion
