Threat Of Malware in Symbian Smartphones

A majority of smartphones are not equipped with anti-malware applications. That makes it easier for mobile malware to sneak into smartphones and pose a security threat.

A study by SMobile systems shows that 1 in 63 smartphones running on Symbian operating system was infected with malware. Globally this number could run in millions of handsets.
