Text Messaging Growth in USA in 2008

Americans have been texting like crazy. The number of text messages sent grew nearly three times to a level of ten messages per day per mobile subscriber.

Total number of SMS sent in 2008 : 1 trillion
Total number of SMS sent in 2007 : 363 billion
