SMS has been the main revenue generator in Western Europe. However, the revenues are projected to fall in the coming years:
SMS revenues in 2007: €16.42 billion
Estimated revenues in 2011: €14.59 billion
MMS revenues in 2007: €7.40 billion
Estimated revenues in 2011: €24.28 billion
