Semiconductor Chips Sales Projection for 2009

It is a very uncertain market and projections have consistently been revised. Here are the 2009 sales projections that have been made (and revised) by Gartner since November 2008:

November 2008 : 1% growth
December 2008 : 16% drop
January 2009 : 24% drop

Projected worst case scenario : 33% drop in sales compared to 2008
