Recession Effect On Number Of Jobs Posted Online
There are 1.13 million lesser job requirements posted online in US for January 2009 compared to November 2008 taking the total number of job ads posted online to 3.355 million. However, job demand is increasing with over 10.75 million unemployed and looking for work.
However, two American states still have more job vacancies posted online than the number of unemployed. These are North Dakota and Wyoming.

I really hope that this situation will change in the near future, because we suffer a lot from the repercussion of these financial crisis.
The perception of a “quick fix” to the job search is still pervasive.
The search for work requires hard work and persistence. And before that search starts, the job seeker needs a personal brand.
In my view, job seekers relying solely on job boards are in for a very long wait.
