Online Real Estate Advertising Statistics
Real estates have been one of the big spenders online. However, with the recession the advertising spending fell. However, according to a recent study by Borrell Associates, the fall in online advertising has been relatively miniscule compared with the fall in more traditional forms of media like TV and Newspapers.
Here’s how the real estate ad spending is projected to be
2008 : $7.634 billion
2009 : $7.545 billion (1% fall)
2010 : $7.236 billion (4% fall)
For a perspective, advertising on broadcast TV is projected to fall 44% and 39% in the two years and in Cinema, it is believed to have dropped 75% last year.
