Storm worm botnet had accounted for 21 percent of all spam in September 2007. Since then, the new Mega-D Botnet has been steadily increasing in numbers and according to security vendor, Marshal, it now accounts for 32 percent of all spam sent.
Mega-D is hence currently the largest single source of spam.
