How Many Internet Users In All?

There were totally 1319 million Internet users by the end of 2007. Compare this with the number of users at the end of 2000 – 361 million users. That is a growth of 265.6% every year. The continents with most users are

Asia – 510 million
Europe – 348 million

And the continent with the highest internet penetration levels is North America with a penetration level of 71.1%
