Growth Of Mobile Social Networking

A report studying the growth of social networking through mobile phones will reach 800 million users by 2012. Here is the projected number of users through the various years and the percentage of mobile subscriber base they represent (in brackets)

2007 : 82 million (2.7%)
2008 : 147 million (4.3%)
2009 : 243 million (6.6%)
2010 : 369 million (9.5%)
2011 : 554 million (13.3%)
2012 : 803 million (18.8%)
