Nokia is yet to discover upon a device that will comprehensively compete against the likes of iPhone and the other smartphones. Here is a snippet from the second quarter results from Western Europe ranked by markets share. The change in market share year-on-year is given in brackets.

2. Samsung : 29% (12%)
3. Sony Ericsson : 12% (-18%)
4. LG : 11% (71%)
5. Apple : 3% (600%)
6. RIM 3% (50%)
7. Others : 5% (-57%)
