A study by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) paints a pretty optimistic picture on the growth of eCommerce in the Europe region over the next half decade. Here are a few numbers from their recent study

33% of EU consumers had purchased goods online in the past one year.
93% of these purchases were within their own national border

eCommerce in Western Europe shall grow at 9.6% annually
Total worth of eCommerce from Western Europe likely to reach $123.1 billion Euros by 2014.
