Gartner predicts that 2.3 trillion text messages will be sent through the major world markets in 2008 (up from 1.9 trillion SMSes in 2007)! And the leader, as one would expect is not USA which accounts for only 301 billion (up from 189 billion in 2007), but the Asian markets.
