Growth Forecast For Wi-Fi Enabled Mobile Handsets

Last month In-Stat published statistics on the growth of Wi-Fi enabled handsets globally. According to this, 184 million Wi-Fi enabled mobile handsets will be shipped this year. Now in a new report from Coda Research, the corresponding statistics have been released for United States. Here are the projected growth of Wi-Fi enabled mobile phones in US

2011 : 76 million

Cell Phone Ownership Among Teenagers

Most Popular Android Smartphones

The arrival of Motorola Droid and HTC myTouch have seriously shaken up the Android market. According to a report by media portal Myxer, three months back in October 2009, 81% of visits from Android platform was contributed by HTC Dream.G1. Today, its contribution is less than 35%. Apple is expected to announce the launch of their Tablet at the end of this month. With Google and a few other companies also in the process of launching their own tablet computer devices, how long before growth in this market explodes?
