From the first quarter of 2008, the number of Wi-Fi connections has nearly multiplied by five times to date. Here are the number of connections handled by AT&T over the quarters:

Q1 2008 : 3.4 million
Q2 2008 : 3.7 million
Q3 2008 : 5.2 million
Q4 2008 : 7.4 million
Q1 2009 : 10.5 million
Q2 2009 : 15.0 million
