China is now tied with United States for the top spot. The number of web users from both the countries now stands at 221 million. China’s web user base has grown 61 percent since the start of 2007 when the number stood at 137 million. The current internet penetration level in China is 16%, 3 percent below the world average of 19%.

In 2007, approximately 5000 infected web pages were detected on an average in a day. This quarter, this number has soared to around 15,000 per day. That is one web page every five seconds. 79 percent of the infected web pages are hosted on legitimate websites.

In 30 years, SeaGate became the first manufacturer to ship One Billion hard drives. The first SeaGate hard drive made in 1979 could store 5 MB of data. Since then, SeaGate has manufactured 79 Terabytes worth of hard drives. The company plans to double the number to 2 billion in another five years.
